2 years ago, I left a six-figure job in the big city to move my family to the mountains - just to give them the best shot at the best life possible. I wanted to teach them the old-fashioned skills of self-sustainability, responsibility, woodsmanship, and good old fashioned hard work. Life in the mountains is hard work if you want to survive, but its worth every minute of sweat, tears and sawdust, to be free of the noise, traffic, and scandal of the big city.

Cinder Mountain is for all those men out there - those real, hardworking, sacrificing, back-broken men - who have given everything, sacrificed everything, and done everything they can to be the man their family and country needed them to be. To be the Provider they needed. To be the Protector they needed.
